Job Summary

Lead trade operations for exports by checking export payment discounts and reviewing export/import documents against L/C or SBLC terms and applicable ICC guidelines and internal bank policies. Input documents into the processing system, prepare SWIFT for advising, and perform sanction checks. Ensure accurate, timely transaction processing, share error/knowledge gaps to improve customer service, and support automation ideas while coordinating with onshore teams for seamless delivery.

Key Responsibilities

•Check export payment discount and process export/import trade finance transactions according to bank internal policies and ICC guidelines.
•Perform document checking against L/C or SBLC terms using applicable UCP/ISBP/ISP and internal policies.
•Conduct sanction checks of relevant parties in documents.
•Input documents into the processing system and prepare SWIFT for advising.
•Manage transaction processing quality and ensure consistent document examination standards; share rejection drivers with the team and support automation ideas.

Key Requirements

•At least 5-8 years of relevant working experience in Trade Operations.
•Document checking experience of 2-3 years is required.
•Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel).
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
•Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
