Job Summary

Maintain and repair ammonia and HCFC refrigeration systems and related utilities (hot water, compressed air, steam) at a highly automated meat processing facility. Work overnight in 12-hour rotating shifts with a 3-day weekend off every other week. Perform preventative maintenance, emergency mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, and understand boiler theory, IIAR NH3 schematics, and RETA requirements. Support the Emergency Response Team and help train junior refrigeration technicians.

•Minimize downtime by addressing equipment and system failures.
•Participate in the Emergency Response Team and support training/development of junior refrigeration technicians.

•Process Safety Management (PSM) experience.
•Ability to perform emergency mechanical or electrical repairs and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, pump, pressure, and hydraulic plant equipment.
