Lead and manage cold chain warehouse operations and technical maintenance for a DP World facility. Oversee temperature-controlled storage, ensure regulatory compliance (FSSAI/HACCP/ISO), supervise critical infrastructure, drive preventive maintenance, and mentor technical staff to optimize energy usage and safety in a large industrial refrigeration environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee daily cold storage operations and ensure proper handling of temperature-sensitive inventory
•Monitor and maintain temperature and humidity across storage zones and conduct regular inspections and audits
•Lead breakdown response and implement preventive and predictive maintenance across refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical systems
•Supervise critical infrastructure including fire pumps, substations, HVAC systems, and backup power units; manage spare parts and inventory
•Ensure compliance with food-safety standards, perform risk assessments, enforce safety protocols, conduct mock drills, and manage emergency response plans

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
•Experience in cold chain warehouse operations and industrial refrigeration (ammonia/Freon-based)
•Experience with CMMS, SCADA, HMI, and IoT-based monitoring; PLCs and VFDs familiarity
•Strong documentation and SOP management; ability to prepare MIS, cost, and temperature reports
•Knowledge of FSSAI, HACCP, ISO and other food-safety compliance; risk assessments and safety permits
