Job Summary

Originate residential 1st mortgage loans end-to-end, owning the loan journey from application through closing while meeting management standards and One Bank partnership objectives. Build referral relationships with realtors, builders, and contacts, and coach/train assigned Mortgage Loan Advisors on mortgage loan business fundamentals, policies, processing, underwriting, pricing, and escalation protocols. Manage loan pipelines through closing, complete required reporting, and provide high-touch customer service.

Key Responsibilities

•Originate residential 1st mortgage loans from application through closing and meet sales and partnership objectives.
•Develop and sustain referral relationships with realtors, builders, and professional/personal contacts.
•Maintain knowledge of mortgage company policies, loan products, processing, underwriting, and complete required training on time.
•Coach and train assigned Mortgage Loan Advisors/Consultants on origination behaviors, mortgage loan components, and loan facilitation through closing.
•Manage loan pipeline through closing, collect required documentation, upload files to operations, and provide timely status updates with required reporting.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent (four-year college degree preferred).
•3-5 years of mortgage origination experience (Fifth Third or similar institution preferred).
•Top 25% closed loan production or units in the prior calendar year, with a proven exceptional performance track record.
•Knowledge of conventional and/or government lending guidelines, plus residential mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
•S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through NMLS (MU4R registration required).
