Job Summary

Build and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for enterprise workloads as part of the ISSE team within Visa’s Operations & Infrastructure organization. Partner with systems DevOps engineers/architects to adopt DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code, standardize foundational public cloud services, and deliver Kubernetes-as-a-Service. Leverage AWS, Azure, and GCP to improve reliability, observability, security posture, and cost efficiency while supporting developer productivity.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, automated cloud infrastructure for enterprise-scale systems.
•Use AWS/Azure/GCP expertise to guide infrastructure decisions across performance, cost, and security, and ensure availability, resilience, and security of mission-critical applications.
•Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code and DevOps methodologies to enable consistent, repeatable deployments and operational efficiency.
•Develop and manage standard foundational enterprise cloud services to improve reliability, observability, and cost optimization, including logging, monitoring, and configuration management.
•Standardize and harden container orchestration with Kubernetes-as-a-Service and integrate monitoring/APM/SIEM tooling for proactive alerting and security compliance.

Key Requirements

•2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years of relevant work experience.
•Minimum 3 years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or SRE.
•Strong knowledge of operating systems (Linux/UNIX and Windows Server) and scripting with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
•Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and automating infrastructure in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
•Proficiency with IaC frameworks (Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible).
