Key Responsibilities

•Deliver MYP/DP Psychology lessons within the IB framework and contribute to the department’s data-driven approach to teaching.
•Collaborate with Psychology department colleagues to support student outcomes and foster a love of learning in an international IB setting.
•Monitor and assess student progress using IB assessment criteria and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
•Incorporate best practices from the IB Approaches to Teaching to support diverse learners and intercultural understanding.
•Ensure safeguarding and welfare of students in line with school policy and DBS requirements.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Education degree or an initial degree plus a relevant teaching qualification such as a PGCE, PGDE or equivalent in Psychology
•Minimum of 3 years experience teaching Secondary/High School Psychology, ideally within an IB curriculum
•Strong understanding of the IBDP framework and Approaches to Teaching; IB experience preferred but not mandatory
•Ideal candidate located in the UAE with their own visa
•UK-enhanced DBS or equivalent police check is a pre-requisite for all appointments
