Key Responsibilities

  • •Create and implement changes through automation to support network infrastructure.
  • •Operate and troubleshoot network routing, interconnectivity, platforms, performance, and configuration issues, including low-level interaction with Linux systems and next-gen networking tools.
  • •Maintain compliance with standards across the networking toolset and supporting policies and practices.
  • •Drive innovation from top of rack to network border, including deployment and sustaining of network infrastructure and tooling.
  • •Collaborate with a network architect and internal/external stakeholders to roll out new designs and products and produce technical documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive experience designing, deploying, and troubleshooting large-scale enterprise WAN architectures using routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), MPLS, and overlay networks across distributed sites.
  • •Hands-on experience configuring and managing enterprise-grade Software-Defined WAN platforms (Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN/Viptela, Fortinet Secure SD-WAN, VMware Velocloud, or Silver Peak) with centralized policy enforcement, ZTP, and dynamic path selection.
  • •Production experience developing automation scripts and configuration frameworks using Python and Ansible, including consuming network REST APIs and NETCONF/RESTCONF with JSON, YAML, and XML.
  • •Strong background implementing secure connectivity across WAN boundaries, including IPsec site-to-site tunnels, MACsec, Next-Gen Firewall policies, and QoS traffic shaping.
  • •Proficiency working with networking protocols and APIs (ideally Open vSwitch and RESTful APIs) and knowledge of network topologies and architecture (VLAN, LAN, WAN).
