  • •Lead end-to-end hardware and software integration for unmanned aerial systems from prototyping to active flight test campaigns.
  • •Manage and deploy embedded edge software stacks using Docker images, shell scripts, and Linux system tools across onboard computers and peripherals.
  • •Troubleshoot vehicle networks, payload interfaces, and sensor links in real time using command-line tools and hardware diagnostics.
  • •Develop Python and C++ scripts for data reduction, log analysis, system validation, and real-time subsystem verification.
  • •Fabricate and connect system cabling/electronics and configure IP routing and mesh communications between flight controllers, radios, and ground control stations.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in robotics integration, flight test engineering, embedded systems, or autonomous vehicles (aerial background preferred).
  • •Deep practical comfort with Linux CLI, system logging, local IP routing/subnets, and containerized deployments with Docker.
  • •Proven hands-on wiring and hardware diagnostics using oscilloscopes and multimeters, including precision soldering and custom cable assembly.
  • •Strong proficiency in Python, C++, or Shell scripting to automate testing and analyze/process flight data logs.
  • •Direct experience working with serial/vehicle bus protocols (UART, CAN, Ethernet, SPI, I2C).
