Key Responsibilities

  • •Review and approve contractor proposed materials and methods as delegated by the Resident Engineer.
  • •Prepare the Material Engineer’s daily diary and provide general oversight of contractor daily activities and on-site performance.
  • •Attend factory visits and supplier plant inspections as required.
  • •Follow up on testing and approvals from relevant authorities; review contractor testing requests and completed reports.
  • •Monitor material delivery performance and accuracy, conduct continuous field inspections, and report contractual/procedural matters to the Resident Engineer.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience in design, construction, and supervision of water pipeline, sewerage, rising mains, and pumping stations.
  • •Full knowledge of existing infrastructure networks in the Emirates of Dubai.
  • •Extensive experience conducting quality inspections with hands-on experience of ISO9000 quality systems.
  • •Relevant BSc degree from a recognized university.
  • •Must be a holder of Dubai Central Laboratory approval.
