Key Responsibilities

  • •Design portions of engineering solutions for manufacturing parts, component sub-assemblies, and final assemblies based on specifications.
  • •Establish, deliver, and maintain manufacturing processes for new products across the product life cycle to drive issue resolution.
  • •Develop and distribute manufacturing documentation supporting product design, configuration, and build requirements.
  • •Implement established time standards and production area layouts, including tooling and processes for subsystems and new products.
  • •Optimize tool availability and manufacturing performance, communicate improvement plans and findings, and manage relationships with outsourced partners and suppliers.

Key Requirements

  • •Four-year degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience.
  • •Typically 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in engineering design and solutions or a related field.
  • •Demonstrated competence applying established engineering principles to manufacturing of parts and assemblies.
  • •Ability to analyze straightforward problems and propose solutions using technical judgment.
  • •Familiarity with continuous improvement practices and manufacturing process optimization.
