Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead major components of the data solution lifecycle, considering optimization and scalability from concept through delivery.
  • •Oversee end-to-end data processes including ingestion, transformation, modeling, and integration across multiple projects.
  • •Promote data engineering best practices across code quality, testing, CI/CD, and documentation standards.
  • •Implement data governance controls including metadata management, access controls, data lineage, PII protection, and compliance requirements.
  • •Provide technical workshops, collaborate with stakeholders, and mentor junior and mid-level data engineers, including troubleshooting complex issues and supporting operationalization of analytics solutions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • •Advanced proficiency in programming for data engineering (Python preferred; Scala, Java, or C# also beneficial).
  • •Strong SQL skills and deep understanding of relational databases, non-relational stores, and data warehouse principles.
  • •Experience with data modeling methodologies (e.g., dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, data vault).
  • •Experience designing and operating ETL/ELT pipelines and modern workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions), plus delivering cloud-based data engineering at scale.
