Job Summary

Perform testing, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of avionics electronic equipment in an FAA-regulated environment with little or no instruction. Work on products returned from airlines, dealers, airframes, and end users for service, conducting technical analysis and component-level troubleshooting. This onsite 2nd shift role follows Collins Aerospace workmanship and quality standards and includes work assessed as safety sensitive under FAA guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

•Service, repair, and modify avionics equipment under general supervision.
•Perform duties including servicing, operating, maintaining, and repairing avionics equipment.
•Conduct technical analysis of products, modifications, and enhancements based on customer requirements and approved documentation.
•Solder fine pitch and SMD components as part of repairs and modifications.
•Troubleshoot technical problems down to component level and manage time effectively.
