Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive impact across multiple teams or a significant infrastructure area independently by translating organizational goals into execution plans and delivering parallel workstreams.
  • •Define strategy and roadmap by anticipating internal user needs, technical challenges, reliability risks, and business priorities, then communicating a clear plan to team and senior leadership.
  • •Develop senior talent through coaching, creating stretch opportunities, and providing candid feedback to improve performance.
  • •Align stakeholders across product, security, data, support, and adjacent engineering teams, resolving ambiguity at team boundaries around shared priorities.
  • •Set high standards for reliability, availability, scalability, incident response, and engineering craft, addressing systemic issues that affect internal users.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience with 10+ years of software development experience.
  • •4+ years of engineering management experience with a demonstrated track record of autonomous impact as an engineering manager.
  • •Experience leading high-complexity engineering teams delivering multiple difficult, high-impact workstreams in parallel.
  • •Proven ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority and communicate clear direction.
  • •Technical depth to guide architecture decisions and hold teams to high standards for product quality, reliability, and engineering craft.
