Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead market scoping and feasibility analysis for potential new Africa geographies, map labour market conditions, and develop structured opportunity assessments to inform go/no-go decisions
  • •Identify and evaluate opportunities to expand Generation’s programme portfolio into new sectors or professions in Africa, and pilot designs in collaboration with country teams
  • •Design, test, and refine new commercial and earned revenue models, including employer cost-sharing arrangements and social enterprise structures
  • •Support sector ecosystem development by mapping actors, developing engagement strategies, and coordinating stakeholder frameworks
  • •Maintain a living pipeline of growth opportunities and produce analyses, briefings, and presentations for internal decision-making and funder reporting

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, economics, international development, social sciences, public policy)
  • •4–8 years of relevant professional experience in strategy, management consulting, business development, programme design, market entry, or closely related field
  • •Experience designing, testing, or supporting new programmes, pilots, products, or business models in ambiguity
  • •Strong commercial and financial intuition with ability to reason about revenue models and cost structures
  • •Proven ability to engage credibly with diverse stakeholders across public/private/social sectors and influence without formal authority
