Key Responsibilities

•Install building automation systems and temperature control components (conduit, enclosures, wiring, and end devices) using control drawings, plans, and specifications.
•Prepare for on-site installation by reviewing building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating with other trades.
•Maintain assigned inventory, company equipment, and complete job documentation including daily time, progress, duration, and required paperwork/reports.
•Serve as the direct customer contact on assigned projects, servicing products/equipment by identifying issues, diagnosing, and repairing systems at customer locations to ensure satisfaction.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company assets, with regular travel and occasional overnight stays.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma (or equivalent) and typically 2-5 years of experience in HVAC/controls; technical school/formal training preferred.
•Knowledge of low voltage electricity, electronics (board-level troubleshooting), direct digital controls, and building control techniques.
•Previous experience with DDC controls systems is preferred.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and proficiency with handheld computers (smartphone/iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent traffic violations, including DUI, hit-and-run, reckless/careless driving, or license suspension in the prior 3 years.
