Job Summary

Project Engineer responsible for the technical and functional design of fire alarm and evacuation systems. You translate input from multiple sources into a practical design, communicate effectively with colleagues and clients, and support installation, commissioning, testing, and handover of complex safety systems in critical facilities.

Key Responsibilities

•Design the technical and functional aspects of fire alarm and evacuation systems and translate input from various sources into a coherent, practical design.
•Create design documentation including program of requirements, schematics, cabling drawings, configuration lists, matrixes and test protocols.
•Review the technical designs of subcontractors and ensure proper configuration, programming and validation of systems.
•Assist in commissioning of complex installations and support handover to the project manager with scope changes.
•Maintain design changes to support project management (change orders).
