Serve as the critical link between customer-facing field issues and engineering teams to improve Lucid powertrain reliability. Investigate complex real-world problems across the High Voltage Battery, Drive Unit, Charging, High Voltage Distribution, and Thermal systems using hands-on diagnostics and field data analytics. Lead structured root cause analysis, manage the issue lifecycle from identification to closure, and drive measurable improvements in vehicle uptime and corrective action effectiveness through cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead investigation of complex field issues across High Voltage Battery Packs, Drive Units, Charging Systems, High Voltage Distribution, and Thermal Systems using hands-on diagnostics and component-level analysis.
•Drive and support structured root cause investigations, distinguishing between design, manufacturing, supplier, integration, and service-related issues, and partner with engineering teams to validate solutions.
•Use warranty data, vehicle telemetry, diagnostics, and field reports to identify trends, prioritize emerging issues, quantify customer impact, and monitor issue progression across configurations and model years.
•Collaborate with Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Diagnostics, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, and Service teams to accelerate issue resolution and improve product robustness.
•Manage the full field quality issue lifecycle from identification through closure, including replication, documentation, severity assessment, corrective action tracking, validation, and verification.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
•4+ years of experience supporting electric vehicle powertrain systems, including one or more of: High Voltage Battery Packs, Drive Units, Charging Systems, High Voltage Distribution, and Thermal Systems.
•Strong technical understanding of EV powertrain architecture, diagnostics, and system interactions.
•Demonstrated experience performing root cause analysis and solving complex technical problems using engineering fundamentals.
•Ability to analyze diagnostic data, vehicle logs, fault codes, and field performance metrics to identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
