Key Responsibilities

  • •Design Support: Assist in preparing concept designs for mechanical sub-systems, focusing on reliability, robustness, and mission-critical performance.
  • •3D Modeling & Drafting: Create detailed 3D models and 2D technical drawings for mechanical components including plastic injection molded parts, die castings, and sheet metal.
  • •Bill of Materials (BOM): Set up and maintain accurate BOMs and release mechanical prints through our PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems.
  • •Prototyping & Pilot Builds: Provide on-site support for prototype assembly and pilot production runs to identify design improvements.
  • •Testing & Validation: Perform mechanical verification tests (suc)

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • •Proficiency in generating 3D CAD models and 2D drawings; experience with PTC Creo or SolidWorks is a significant advantage.
  • •Basic understanding of manufacturing processes such as plastic injection molding, metal stamping, and PCBA assembly.
  • •Strong communication skills to present conceptual ideas and technical data to the engineering team.
  • •Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for structural or heat transfer applications (academic projects acceptable)
