Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide non-medical, short-term, solution-focused counseling directly to eligible children and youth of service members at assigned locations.
  • •Support staff and personnel of Child Development Centers, youth programs, and summer camps with training and guidance.
  • •Deliver health and wellness presentations and participate in base/installation activities focused on children and youth.
  • •Enter counselor activity data daily via smartphone or web application while maintaining confidentiality and anonymity.
  • •Establish and maintain relationships with community resources to ensure linkage and accessibility of MFLC services.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 59,922 - 100,280 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s Degree in a Mental Health related field with independent counseling licensure (LCSW-C, LCMFT, LCPC or Psychologist)
  • •Valid unrestricted independent counseling license from a State, District of Columbia, US Territory or Commonwealth
  • •Minimum of two years of post-license clinical experience
  • •Demonstrate technology proficiency (Microsoft Suite, internet navigation, video-conferencing)
  • •Ability to demonstrate US Citizenship and fluency in English
