Key Responsibilities

•Interpret and apply information from work orders, job orders, specifications, ISO standards, and blueprints/symbols.
•Use hand tools and power tools safely and demonstrate safe rigging practices.
•Recognize materials and perform appropriate material handling techniques.
•Select and safely use equipment such as manlifts, fork lifts, and company trucks.
•Weld components using welding processes for metals (e.g., carbon steel, stainless, alloys), perform alignment and pre-weld tasks, and qualify/pass welding performance tests to achieve 100% X-ray quality.

Key Requirements

•Must own a welding machine.
•2+ years of journeyman experience welding various types of materials.
•1-2 years of experience as a welding helper.
•Pipe welding experience with TIG and Stick.
•Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood (U.S. Only).
