Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the architecture, scale, and reliability of the shared malware scanning platform, including scan orchestration and verdict storage.
  • •Build detection-quality measurement pipelines, metrics, and dashboards, and drive feedback loops so detection changes ship in hours.
  • •Create systems for reviewing, escalating, and correcting detections quickly, including bulk correction at ecosystem scale.
  • •Develop APIs and services for customer investigation, enforcement, and appeal of scanner findings, including backend for policy management and enterprise operations.
  • •Operate the scanner in the critical path of customer installs with alerting, queue health, verdict-before-serve guarantees, and incident response.

Key Requirements

  • •Multiple years building and operating production backend or infrastructure systems with staff-level ownership and technical leadership.
  • •Strong Go experience, or deep backend systems experience with ability to ramp quickly in Go.
