Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement processes to deliver complex financial and regulatory reporting across required report types and schedules.
  • •Prepare and review complex financial and regulatory reports, including audited statements and support schedules.
  • •Identify and implement improvements aligned with internal controls over financial reporting.
  • •Monitor, analyze, and interpret new and proposed changes to financial reporting requirements and assess impacts to USAA.
  • •Interact with management, regulatory agencies, and business partners; draft disclosures, technical memos, presentations, and documentation.

  • •Expert knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the ability to apply industry practices impacting financial statements.
  • •4 years of experience conducting research and preparing business and operational financial analysis.
