Key Responsibilities

  • •Procedure production welding that consistently meets or exceeds minimum quality requirements while complying with HSE and company policies.
  • •Inspect welding equipment and survey the work area to minimize risk of fire, explosion, or injury caused by welding.
  • •Manage welding tools and equipment condition, including safe handling of items such as quiver, wire feeder, chipping gun, and air grinder.
  • •Route welding cables and hoses safely; perform visually inspection of the complete weld and adjacent substrate and report non-conformances.
  • •Remove slag and spatter, clean the weld to a presentable condition, and complete the matrix box (welder ID/Stamp, WPS, preheat, completion date).

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum Senior High School graduate.
  • •Welding experience.
  • •Carry personal welder qualification card on site at all times.
  • •Attend TBSM and TBQM on time.
  • •Ensure valid WPS is available and adhered to for joint welding.
