Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as product owner for one or more finance process areas and their systems, running discovery, defining target-state design, owning the roadmap, and measuring success by value and accuracy.
  • •Lead domain problems without established configuration patterns, including international expansion complexity (entity, currency, tax, statutory) and new product offerings (pricing, billing model, revenue recognition).
  • •Develop and maintain a holistic architecture strategy for finance applications, including system boundaries and data flow, and coordinate integrations/handoffs with adjacent enterprise systems like Workday and Salesforce.
  • •Eliminate manual work by replacing spreadsheets, manual data entry, and email-based approvals with configuration, automated workflows, and integrations; evaluate new tooling/functionality for best fit.
  • •Configure and optimize NetSuite and related spend and revenue workflows, including Zip intake/approvals, Ramp and Brex card programs, Metronome usage ingestion and invoicing logic, and future revenue recognition tooling; ensure quality with lightweight SDLC and mentor peers.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 175,000 - 225,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of hands-on experience as a finance systems professional, including 5+ years of direct NetSuite experience with complex configuration for a global, multi-entity, multi-currency finance organization.
  • •Experience as a product owner or product manager for at least one core finance process area (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and/or record-to-report), including discovery, target-state design, tradeoffs, and roadmap ownership through delivery.
  • •Excellent stakeholder management and communication across business and technology teams, including mentoring peers and serving as an escalation point for hard problems.
  • •Ability to solve ambiguous, high-stakes process problems without an existing playbook with high autonomy—such as international expansion, multi-entity/multi-currency complexity, or new pricing/billing/revenue recognition design.
  • •Experience with change management and planning (regression and UAT), segregation of duties, and regulatory requirements while improving efficiencies.
