Key Responsibilities

  • •Support change control activities across the program and coordinate cross-functional activities across DDI, certification, and O&M/configuration phases.
  • •Bridge business and technical needs, translating complex program, technical, and policy requirements into actionable guidance for teams and stakeholders.
  • •Manage communication of system design/development/program status, including risks, decisions, and impacts to leadership, the State, CMS, and partners; prepare clear documentation for regulatory and contract obligations.
  • •Manage program phases from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery of contractual deliverables, milestones, and reporting requirements aligned to CMS/state/federal guidelines.
  • •Drive execution of CMS certification processes and lead continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and recommending performance and risk-reduction improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent combination of education and four additional years of directly relevant experience).
  • •Minimum 5 years of program management experience for complex IT and/or operations contracts within Medicaid or the healthcare industry.
  • •Minimum 5 years of experience managing staff.
  • •Minimum 5 years in design, development, implementation, operations, maintenance, or modification of large MMIS or insurance applications.
  • •Familiarity with Medicaid provider screening, enrollment, and monitoring.
