Job Summary

Own material program planning and supplier management for advanced technologies development programs in a matrixed environment. Serve as the liaison between Supply Chain and Program teams, creating and executing a program material strategy from front-end execution through contract closure. Drive sourcing decisions, flow-down identification, SSOW creation, RFIs/RFPs/RFQs, supplier add/reactivation requests, and purchase order/requisition management using MRP demand loads while monitoring supplier performance. Primarily onsite in Goleta, CA.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and execute Material Program Plans and Supplier Management Plans.
•Plan and execute sourcing decisions, supporting Make/Buy/Where.
•Identify customer prime contract flow-downs and communicate required terms, conditions, attachments, and modifications.
•Assist with Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs) and generate/execute RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs including understanding supplier proposals/quotes.
•Drive purchase requisition generation and purchase order placement/management (including MRP system demand loads), and participate in supplier engagements/reviews to ensure performance.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a University Degree (or equivalent experience) with minimum 8 years relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 5 years experience.
•Experience with Supply Chain, Production Control, and/or Procurement processes and requirements.
•Experience with Office 365.
•Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
•U.S. citizenship is required (only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance).
