Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide strategic 2nd/3rd tier network consultation and act as the final escalation point for severe network crises.
  • •Lead technical resolutions for network topologies, including SDA/DNAC and SDWAN, and drive outages to successful outcomes.
  • •Translate technical challenges into feedback to influence Cisco product direction with Engineering.
  • •Develop automation assets and AI-driven tools to simplify service delivery and integrate AI/automation into support operations.
  • •Mentor Technical Consulting Engineers and lead team training sessions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 10+ years of experience in technical consulting or Tier 2/3 troubleshooting.
  • •Experience supporting network protocols including IPv4/v6, EIGRP, IS-IS, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, L3VPN, and Segment Routing.
  • •Knowledge of Cisco routing platforms including IOS XR and SRV6 (ISR/ASR/CRS), and switching platforms like Catalyst/Nexus.
  • •Experience with Layer 2 technologies including VTP, STP, MST, RSTP+, trunking, and VLANs.
  • •Industry certification (e.g., CCIE) or equivalent, plus experience managing technical escalations and cross-functional projects.
