Job Summary

Provide technical engineering support across AV system integration projects—from SOW review and technical oversight through installation and completion. Create detailed equipment layouts and RCP/floor plan drawings, perform acoustical modeling, and develop/test system code for audio-visual functionality. Support commissioning and user acceptance testing, troubleshoot integrated systems, and coordinate with vendors and installation teams while keeping projects aligned on time, scope, budget, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide technical oversight of AV projects from award through installation and completion.
•Review project SOW and estimate hours based on needs analysis, scope, and bid requirements.
•Develop engineering drawings (RCP/floor plan), calculations, and acoustical modeling as needed.
•Test audio DSP/video processing systems software, support commissioning, and troubleshoot integrated systems.
•Scrub/approve equipment designs, review red-line/as-built shop drawings, and submit updates to CAD department; provide weekly updates and assist with project budget monitoring.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Minimum four years of AV experience (preferred).
•Ability to program, change, and troubleshoot AV systems using AMX/Crestron.
•Experience testing and calibrating audio/video systems and supporting user acceptance testing.
•Formal education in Electronics or related field preferred (or a four-year degree or military experience).
•Ability to diagnose complex system problems and work independently to meet deadlines.
