Job Summary

Support the Hawk Lead-In-Fighter program by performing scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance at RAAF Base Williamtown, NSW. Work across Mechanical, Avionics, and Armament trades, handling systems maintenance, fault diagnosis, compliance with authorised technical data, and regulatory airworthiness requirements. Report to a Team Leader and maintain readiness through safe, detail-oriented execution of technical publications, certification requirements, and technical documentation.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities in accordance with authorised technical data and regulatory standards.
•Maintain mechanical systems (hydraulic, environmental, pneumatic and propulsion systems) and related components to meet airworthiness requirements.
•Perform avionics fault diagnosis and maintenance of avionics and integrated aircraft electrical systems.
•Maintain armament-related systems including emergency escape/egress systems and aircraft weapon systems, including loading and handling aircraft stores.
•Ensure compliance with technical publications and certification requirements while supporting sustainment and capability growth for the program.

Key Requirements

•Certificate IV in Aeroskills trade or equivalent (mandatory).
•Australian Citizenship (mandatory).
•Ability to obtain and maintain Defence Security Clearance and ITAR (mandatory).
•Strong attention to detail and a compliance mindset for authorised technical data and regulatory standards.
•Experience/qualification aligned with aircraft maintenance trade qualifications may be considered case-by-case.
