Job Summary

Support geotechnical engineering for public and private infrastructure projects, assisting with research, design, analysis, and construction of structures such as roads, bridges, tunnels, dams, and water/sewage systems. Collect and analyze site and subsurface data, help with site characteristic verification, and contribute to subsurface investigations, settlement and slope stability analyses. Produce accurate documentation and follow safety and quality standards under general supervision.

Key Responsibilities

•Under general supervision, assist with collecting, compiling, and analyzing site and subsurface data for project development, design, and construction.
•Maintain quality control standards and procedures for accurate measurements.
•Assist with basic professional geotechnical engineering work such as subsurface investigations, foundation engineering, settlement analysis, and slope stability.
•Provide entry-level technical assistance on design requirements and design/build considerations for safety and functionality.
•Generate complete, accurate, and concise documentation using electronic systems, drawings, and field/work site logs, and comply with safety guidelines and site procedures.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
•0 to 1 years of relevant post-education experience.
•Excellent research skills with an analytical mindset.
•Familiarity with process and concepts for design/build.
•Familiarity with relevant remediation, permitting, improvement, and construction laws, codes, regulations, and compliance practices.
