Job Summary

Support the full system life cycle for Medicaid claims processing, partnering with State staff and vendors. Lead process specification development and business requirements definition, and guide requirement modeling through testing, validation, and CMS certification. Help with implementation planning for current MMIS and future CPMS takeover, including schedule/work plans, integration, deployment planning, documentation, and transition to operations. Assist the project manager with project management processes, reporting, risks/issues, and weekly/monthly summaries for CMS.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and formulate process specifications to meet business requirements and guide overall requirements.
•Define and document business, functional, and/or technical requirements; perform in-depth analyses; support testing, validation, and CMS certification.
•Provide guidance on training activities, roll-out strategies, and post-production activities.
•Support the transition from project to program and into operations by bridging stakeholders from development to operations.
•Assist the project manager with project management processes, performance metrics, schedule/work plans, and reporting for CMS, including risks/issues and observations/findings.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 8 years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst with 3 years in business process modelling and management.
•5+ years of experience in MMIS or domain knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, or with a major healthcare payer.
•5+ years working at large multi-contractor organizations, including leading centralized or matrixed teams.
•2+ years of experience with MS Visio, MS Project, and MS Office 365.
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
