Handle crop insurance claims for Zurich’s Rural Community Insurance Services (RCIS) team by investigating facts to determine liability, coverage, and policy verification. •Determine policy verification and coverage by analyzing applicable coverage and confirming whether the loss is within coverage.
•Participate in Risk Management Agency-initiated reviews and referrals to support operations integrity and quality assurance.
•Protect Zurich’s reputation by keeping claims information confidential.
•Maintain professional and technical knowledge through education opportunities, staying current with industry trends, and participating in professional societies.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in the agricultural or crop insurance industry.
•Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program (CAPP) certification must be obtained within 180 days of hire.
•Personal transportation and the ability to travel within the assigned territory and outside as needed to support workload(s) and remote assistance calls.
•RCIS crop adjuster physical requirements, including walking in agricultural fields up to 3 miles and lifting 25–50 lbs.
•Ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
