Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop low-level firmware/software for microcontrollers and create reusable device drivers.
  • •Integrate system-level features and architect changes to support an expanding codebase.
  • •Debug and troubleshoot issues spanning electrical, firmware, and software boundaries.
  • •Review schematics with the electrical engineering team.
  • •Support end-to-end firmware ownership from board bring-up to system-level integration and field testing.

Key Requirements

  • •BS or MS in CS/CE/EE or equivalent industry experience.
  • •Strong C coding ability for embedded systems.
  • •Experience integrating microcontrollers with analog and digital sensors.
  • •Experience developing firmware in bare-metal or RTOS environments.
  • •Some familiarity with common bus protocols such as Ethernet, USB, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232, and RS485.
