Job Summary

Build foundational embedded firmware for the Connected Warfare team, bringing new hardware to life for systems like Menace-I. Write real-time microcontroller code, develop reusable device drivers for sensors and peripherals, and debug cross-disciplinary issues at the hardware-software boundary. Partner closely with Electrical Engineering on board bring-up, schematics review, system-level integration, and field testing to scale modern command and control capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop low-level firmware/software for microcontrollers and create reusable device drivers.
•Integrate system-level features and architect changes to support an expanding codebase.
•Debug and troubleshoot issues spanning electrical, firmware, and software boundaries.
•Review schematics with the electrical engineering team.
•Support end-to-end firmware ownership from board bring-up to system-level integration and field testing.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 132,000 - 198,000 annually

Key Requirements

•BS or MS in CS/CE/EE or equivalent industry experience.
•Strong C coding ability for embedded systems.
•Experience integrating microcontrollers with analog and digital sensors.
•Experience developing firmware in bare-metal or RTOS environments.
•Some familiarity with common bus protocols such as Ethernet, USB, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232, and RS485.
