Job Summary

Own and grow Flywire’s presence in Ireland’s Higher Education market, combining new-business hunting with strategic relationship management. Defend and deepen a portfolio of ~30 HEIs by driving payer adoption, revenue growth, and contract renewals. Lead full-cycle sales (Salesforce hygiene required) including RFPs, while championing technical integrations with key Student Record Systems such as Banner and SITS.

Key Responsibilities

•Proactively hunt and close net-new opportunities in Irish Higher Education to achieve full market coverage and revenue targets.
•Develop and execute a strategic territory plan for Ireland, managing the full sales cycle from discovery to negotiation and close.
•Lead tender responses and RFPs for the Irish market in collaboration with bid teams to secure long-term contracts.
•Drive adoption of integrated payment flows by leading technical integrations with key Student Record Systems (e.g., Banner, SITS).
•Conduct business reviews, secure contract renewals, defend the client base, and act as the internal voice of the Irish customer for product and leadership teams.

Key Requirements

•5+ years’ experience in Sales, Account Management, or Business Development in Ireland selling to the Higher Education sector (EdTech, FinTech, and/or Payments).
•Familiarity with Higher Education ERP/SIS systems; experience with Tribal SITS or Ellucian Banner and payment integrations is a distinct advantage.
•Proven consultative selling across complex sales cycles, identifying gaps in financial processes and presenting technical solutions to C-level stakeholders.
•Hybrid comfort: comfortable hunting net-new deals while nurturing long-term relationships.
•You MUST live in Ireland and have strong presentation and communication skills to build rapport virtually and in person.
