Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee engineering design, installation, and qualification of bulk/specialty gas and chemical storage, blending, and distribution systems.
  • •Ensure compliance with Japan High Pressure Gas Safety Law, Fire Service Act, and chemical handling regulations.
  • •Review construction drawings, material specifications, safety interlocks, and commissioning plans.
  • •Coordinate with tool hook‑up, process engineering, and EHS teams to execute construction and commissioning.
  • •Support contractor oversight and drive best‑in‑class safety and quality.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor degree or above (or equivalent working experience).
  • •8+ years of gas/chemical systems engineering experience in Japan.
  • •Strong understanding of high‑purity piping and gas/chemical delivery systems (including VMB/VS and point‑of‑use delivery).
  • •Strong knowledge of hazardous materials laws and related regulations.
  • •Japanese language required; work experience in Japan is mandatory.
