Key Responsibilities

  • •Own Pelago’s annual event calendar and end-to-end execution of B2B events, including priority industry conferences and hosted customer/prospect experiences.
  • •Lead select corporate programs (Client Advisory Board and President’s Club) with executive and cross-functional partners.
  • •Translate commercial goals into event objectives, audience strategies, activation plans, and measurable success criteria.
  • •Manage event budgets, forecasts, contracts, vendors, venues, production partners, and timelines with strong financial discipline.
  • •Partner across Sales, Partnerships, Client Success, Content, Brand, and Marketing Operations to drive pre-event promotion, onsite engagement, and post-event follow-up; track and report performance.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years leading events, field marketing, experiential marketing, or a closely related function, with meaningful ownership of B2B events.
  • •Independently manage complex events from strategy and budgeting through onsite delivery and post-event measurement.
  • •Strong project management skills to coordinate multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and deadlines.
  • •Excellent communication and relationship-building, including partnering with senior executives, sales leaders, customers, and external vendors.
  • •Experience using event and marketing technology for registration, engagement, lead capture, follow-up, and reporting.
