Job Summary

Support the Centralized Commercial Loan (CCL) Portfolio Management team by assisting with daily collateral monitoring and ongoing review of the commercial loan portfolio. Help with underwriting support tasks such as gathering financial documents, spreading statements and tax data into bank templates, and determining review criteria. Perform research and documentation checks, image and submit finalized documents in loan systems, manage communications with partners, and help prepare reports for management.

•Assist with underwriting support by helping gather appropriate financial documents and determining review criteria based on loan documentation.
•Spread financial statement and tax return data into bank software or templates.
•Research and document review by checking imaged files for readability and verifying borrower information matches loan and approval documentation.
•Perform administrative portfolio tasks such as imaging finalized documents into the loan origination system and submitting facility maintenance forms.
•Communicate daily with relationship teams and partners, help monitor a support email inbox, and pull and prepare reports for management.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
•Prior experience in credit underwriting support, or a role closely aligned with credit and loan functions.
•Strong written and oral communication skills, including composing emails and communicating with internal customers.
•Ability to use critical thinking and make decisions independently based on training and written procedures.
•Basic knowledge of consumer and/or commercial loan documentation and products; good internet research skills.
•Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Outlook.
