Job Summary

Lead mechanical engineering for healthcare projects, from concept through construction close-out, while helping expand the healthcare client base. Develop and manage client relationships, provide technical input on pursuits, and oversee and review mechanical design plans for code compliance and quality. Apply HVAC and mechanical engineering expertise across all project phases, coordinating teams, schedules, budgets, calculations, and technical reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and manage client relationships, providing technical input on pursuit efforts.
•Coordinate, review, and approve mechanical design plans to ensure quality and compliance with applicable codes, ordinances, and regulations.
•Apply mechanical engineering techniques across concept development, preliminary and final design, procurement, construction, and operation to identify improvements.
•Participate from project inception through completion in managing design and construction of mechanical systems and ensuring deliverables stay on schedule.
•Oversee and monitor cross-functional engineering teams across multiple concurrent projects, including budgets, tracking hours/expenses, technical calculations, compliance documentation, and analysis memos.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 118,000 - 175,230 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
•7+ years of experience as a mechanical engineer focused on HVAC systems.
•Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
•Extensive knowledge of mechanical design in the Healthcare industry.
•Proven experience with mechanical design principles, delivery models, and applying permitting and project work requirements.
