Job Summary

Be the hands-on reliability champion for lidar hardware, owning test plans, failure analysis, and CAPA across the product lifecycle. You’ll lead environmental, life-cycle, and mechanical testing, drive reliability targets in design reviews, and collaborate with optical, electrical, mechanical, systems, software, and QA teams to ensure robust, manufacturable hardware for industrial, consumer, and automotive lidar applications.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop, set up, and execute reliability test plans for lidar modules and systems, including environmental stress tests and accelerated life testing.
•Analyze test results, identify failure mechanisms, and produce reliability assessment reports with quantitative findings.
•Perform failure analysis on defective units and drive CAPA/8D to closure.
•Own reliability risk assessment for lidar modules and systems throughout the product development lifecycle, leading design and process FMEAs and tracking risk mitigation actions.
•Represent reliability, quality, and manufacturability in hardware design reviews and product performance reviews to drive robust designs and reduce manufacturing complexity.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 100,000 - 120,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, optical engineering, or related fields. Master’s degree preferred.
