Key Responsibilities

•Lead electrical engineering design work on assigned projects and review peers' work.
•Provide mentorship for other electrical engineers in the High Voltage/Power team.
•Collaborate with Project Engineer and Project Manager to develop design schedules and budgets.
•Perform power system studies and protection settings coordination for various projects.
•Develop basis of design documentation for protection settings and relay configurations; support construction, start-up, and commissioning.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 110,000 - 160,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
•6 years of relevant protection and controls experience in electrical engineering.
•Preferred: Professional Engineering licensure.
•8+ years of experience with 2+ years as a project lead.
•Knowledge of FERC and NERC requirements; experience with IEC61850; experience on EPC, Design/Build projects; plant startup and commissioning field experience; power systems analysis software (SKM, EasyPower, Etap); relay coordination (ASPEN OneLiner).
