Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and develop the Data Centre sales organization in South Africa, including coaching, support, and performance management for sales and technical teams.
  • •Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share through effective commercial leadership and execution across the Data Centre segment.
  • •Develop and execute territory sales strategies, account plans, and growth initiatives aligned with Eaton’s business objectives.
  • •Own and manage sales pipeline, orders, revenue, margin, forecasting, and reporting for the assigned territory.
  • •Act as the primary internal and external representative for the territory, managing customer/partner relationships and overseeing tendering, bid management, and project execution to ensure successful outcomes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma in Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent Data Centre industry experience; Master’s degree preferred.
  • •10+ years of experience in the Data Centre industry with deep understanding of the market and customer landscape.
  • •Advanced project and programme management experience managing multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
  • •Understanding of Data Centre design, operations, and infrastructure, including emerging technologies such as AI and edge computing.
  • •Proven experience building, leading, and developing high-performing teams with strong executive stakeholder management and consultative selling skills.
