Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a key contributor to HSBC Mexico valuation matters for Global Banking & Markets.
  • •Support implementation and automation of FRTB processes in the Product Control department.
  • •Investigate collateral/MTM disputes with external counterparties and support core PC teams for PL disputes related to valuation.
  • •Calculate, post, and reconcile fair value adjustments for HSBC Mexico Global Banking & Markets.
  • •Run the daily End of Day curve process and ensure local models are documented, periodically reviewed, and correctly listed in GMIS.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong knowledge of valuation techniques to derive market value for FX and Fixed Income asset classes.
  • •Strong knowledge of fair value adjustments for FX/Fixed Income (e.g., IPV, Bid-Offer, Illiquidity, xVA).
  • •Ability to liaise with senior management and stakeholders, exercise independent judgment, and contribute in a team environment.
  • •Experience contributing to valuation policy and supporting automation/improvement of processes.
  • •Experience documenting, reviewing, and maintaining local models in an independent model review workflow.
