Support and drive Thunes' personal data protection controls and privacy compliance across the business. Lead data mapping, DPIAs, LIAs and TIAs, assist with DSARs, maintain RoPA, and provide practical privacy guidance to ensure regulatory adherence and risk mitigation in a fast-paced, cross-border payments environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate organisation-wide data inventory and mapping via OneTrust platform.
•Conduct initial reviews of new technologies to identify privacy risks, facilitating DPIAs, LIAs and TIAs.
•Support end-to-end workflow for DSARs, Erasure requests and other regulatory rights requests.
•Maintain and update data processing activities (RoPA) to reflect changes in personal data processing and systems.
•Assist in vendor data protection reviews and contract processes to ensure robust third-party processing practices.

Key Requirements

•3+ years of professional experience advising on data protection and privacy matters, ideally within international cross-border payments.
•Proven ability to engage stakeholders across all levels in a global environment to manage a varied workload.
•Strong understanding of current and emerging global data protection legislation and regulatory updates.
•Knowledge of international data transfer requirements and cross-border payment landscapes.
•Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and CIPPE or equivalent training.
