Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop virtualized packages for mission baseline applications consumed via both VDI sessions and thick clients, including apps with plugins and advanced graphics requirements.
  • •Collaborate with application testers and mission SMEs to validate application behavior and incorporate sequencing changes into app sequencing processes.
  • •Identify and persist required application settings across sessions in a non-persistent VDI environment (e.g., registry, AppData) and streamline sequencing via automation.
  • •Assist the virtualization and VDI teams with application delivery infrastructure configuration as needed.
  • •Analyze, test, and apply security patches and software updates; support incident resolution, backup/DR, and continuity of operations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience with Systems Administration/Virtualization (degree/work substitutions acceptable).
  • •Top Secret/SCI clearance must currently be possessed; Top Secret SCI + Polygraph must be able to be obtained.
  • •3+ years of VDI experience with VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, or Microsoft Remote Desktop Services.
  • •2+ years of experience with Citrix XenApp or comparable application virtualization technology (e.g., Microsoft App-V, FlexApp, App Volumes).
  • •8140.01M IAT Level II certification.
