Signal paving equipment operators, monitor gauges and indicators for proper application, verify asphalt depth, and perform routine lubrication and equipment care.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate a specialized vehicle to transport and distribute tack oil or other road-construction materials.
•Adhere to MSHA/OSHA/DOT safety rules and perform daily safety assignments (area inspections, pre-shifts, JSA’s, TRAK).
•Set up and adjust spray equipment by snapping on screw-on spray bars, regulating material flow, and adjusting spray bar heights.
•Signal paving machine operators, observe material distribution for uniform application, and set screed angle and depth.
•Verify compacted asphalt depth using a depth gauge and monitor flow, tachometer, and temperature gauges; oil and lubricate equipment.

Key Requirements

•Must possess a valid CDL, Class B license, maintain a clean MVR, and pass a DOT physical.
•Must submit to a drug screen and criminal background check.

•Able to work various times during day, night, or weekend hours, at various locations.
•High school Diploma or GED equivalent.
