Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform general labor duties on road construction projects for a heavy highway crew or production crew.
  • •Complete tasks such as shoveling and raking, moving materials, setting forms, cleaning forms, and supporting concrete pours.
  • •Assist with traffic control activities as required on site.
  • •Vibrate and maintain good housekeeping and safety regulations throughout the project.
  • •Apply asphalt and equipment operating experience when available to support crew needs.

Key Requirements

  • •Be able to repetitively lift up to 30 pounds and pass required physical examinations, including walking, stooping, squatting, sitting, and kneeling.
  • •Have knowledge of basic tools and their uses, plus basic mathematical and measurement skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
