Job Summary

Under supervision, perform basic to advanced modeling and drafting using company standards, and design/analyze interior systems and components in collaboration with system engineers. Conduct system safety analysis (including hazard assessment and fault stress analysis) and work cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Supply Chain to meet cost and product weight targets. Support product validation using varied engineering methods while leveraging design tools and NPI knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform basic to advanced modeling and drafting based on company standards under supervision of a leader.
•Design and analyze interior system and components in cooperation with system engineers.
•Perform system safety analysis, including hazard assessment and fault stress analysis.
•Collaborate with Engineering groups and cross-functional teams to manage cost and product weight targets.
•Participate in product validation using different engineering methods.

Key Requirements

•Engineering graduate, preferably Electrical or Electronics Engineer.
•Preferably at least 4 years of involvement in a design organization producing component-level design and R&D.
•Experience using CAD/CATIA V5/NX or other complex CAD software applications.
•Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) is an advantage.
•Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge of the work area typically obtained through a university degree combined with experience; practical knowledge of RTX projects/programs/systems is needed.
