Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and adhere to site-specific health and safety plans to mitigate risks for all stakeholders.
  • •Identify and report potential site hazards, near loss incidents, and loss incidents.
  • •Maintain accurate field notes and collect/handle soil and groundwater samples.
  • •Carry out fieldwork (groundwater monitoring, soil sampling, borehole drilling, subcontractor supervision).
  • •Supervise subcontractors for ground disturbance, surveying, drilling, and well installation; oversee remedial contractors and progress reporting.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 3 years of work experience that includes supervising drilling and remediation contractors.
  • •Diploma in environmental sciences.
  • •Strong knowledge of health and safety and a safety-conscious attitude.
  • •Strong interpersonal and communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy of field notes.
  • •Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for work.
