Job Summary

Help design and deliver municipal water, wastewater, drainage, and roadway infrastructure in Canmore (with Calgary as a secondary location), collaborating with designers, engineers and client teams to shape urban development. You’ll lead engineering activities, prepare reports and cost estimates, and coordinate with contractors and authorities to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and deliver municipal water, wastewater, drainage, roadway infrastructure, and site servicing projects from concept through construction.
•Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to create innovative solutions for land development and municipal engineering challenges.
•Lead and support engineering activities, ensuring projects meet client expectations and industry best practices.
•Prepare and coordinate technical reports, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates that influence project success.
•Engage and communicate with contractors, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Requirements

•A degree in Civil Engineering or a Civil Technologist Diploma with eligibility for APEGA or ASET registration.
•5+ years of progressive experience in municipal infrastructure and land development design.
•Proficiency in Civil3D and AutoCAD, plus strong MS Office and Bluebeam skills.
•Familiarity with local construction specifications, materials and processes.
•A valid driver’s license and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
