Key Responsibilities

  • •Deploying, operating, and tuning stateful database solutions on Kubernetes, with a focus on PostgreSQL.
  • •Designing and implementing storage solutions, backup and recovery processes, replication mechanisms, and high availability/disaster recovery strategies.
  • •Building and maintaining automation for database provisioning, scaling, and lifecycle management using IaC tools and CI/CD pipelines.
  • •Monitoring system health, performance, and reliability, and resolving issues across both database and Kubernetes layers.
  • •Enforcing security best practices, including RBAC, data encryption, secret management, and network policies.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience managing databases in Kubernetes environments.
  • •Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL in production settings.
  • •Solid understanding of Kubernetes concepts, including stateful workloads, storage classes, and operators.
  • •Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and/or Ansible.
